Laura R. Merrill photograph collection 1900-1994 1930-1980

538 photographic images that document the lives of Laura R. and Lorin Merrill and their immediate family. The first 8 folders consist of photographs pasted into a book about Lorin and Laura and their children: Asa June, Harold Reese, Dean Reese, Laura "Dot," Milton R. (for whom the Utah State University library was named after), and Lorin Christian. The book was compiled by Lorin and Laura's son A.J. Merrill and another Merrill relative, Amy Beecher. Also included are images from the Topaz Internment Camp and Laura's Eastern States and Canadian LDS missions and Asa's mission to North Carolina. The collection also contains the negatives of the photos used in the book as well as negatives and photographs of the Merrill family including activities, missions, portraits, weddings, residences, libraries, and churches from the early 1900s to the early 1990s.
